Features of the new packaging include a redefined black and blue glossy appearance, upgraded print board, detailed belt rib style (depending on the part number) and in-depth routing diagrams. In an effort to add value to its tensioner packaging, Dayco says QR codes are being printed on the packaging for instant access to the company's detailed installation videos.

TULSA, Okla. – Dayco Products announced that it has started shipping its extensive line of automotive aftermarket products in newly redesigned packaging. Dayco’s belts, tensioners, pulleys, timing kits and water pump kits will begin arriving next month with the modern look on display.

Features of the new packaging include a redefined black and blue glossy appearance, upgraded print board, detailed belt rib style (depending on the part number) and in-depth routing diagrams. In an effort to add value to its tensioner packaging, Dayco says QR codes are being printed on the packaging for instant access to the company’s detailed installation videos.

“This new look will give our products the attitude we were looking for to represent our most-visible brand,” said Robert Christy, director of marketing for the North American Aftermarket Division of Dayco Products. “Our strategy is to continue to use QR codes responsibly, only if it provides value such as video installation instructions or technical tips.”

Dayco also has released new packaging for its heavy-duty products, the Gold Label line.

“Our new bold, black and gold packaging represents the strength of this original heavy-duty brand of products,” Christy added.

The Gold Label line is also currently being shipped to customers across North America.
