DEI Introduces Header Exhaust Wrap Kit Designed for 2007-2011 Jeep JK

AVON LAKE, Ohio — Shorty headers installed on a Jeep JK will improve horsepower but will also increase underhood temperatures that can burn plug wires and boots. DEI has now introduced a new shorty header wrap kit designed especially for the 2007-2011 Jeep JK that ensures thermal protection up to 1350° F. This easy to install kit protects wires and boots from burning, hardening or cracking while reducing under hood temperatures.

DEI’s new header wrap kit (part #010136) includes: two 25-foot rolls of DEI’s premium Titanium exhaust wrap, six 8-inch Titanium spark plug boots, eight 9-inch stainless positive locking ties, four 14-inch stainless positive locking ties to ensure a secure fit. Especially resistant to solvent, oil, fuel, acid and chemical spills, this kit can be installed in minutes providing added assurance that more horsepower will not equate to cooked wiring down the road.
