Delphi Awarded 2009 NAPA Under Hood Supplier of the Year

Delphi was recently awarded the 2009 NAPA Under Hood Supplier of the Year from the NAPA Under Hood Sales Group.

TROY, Mich. — Delphi was recently awarded the 2009 NAPA Under Hood Supplier of the Year from the NAPA Under Hood Sales Group. Based on collective input from NAPA Under Hood district managers, regional managers and the product team, this annual award is presented to a NAPA Under Hood supplier that demonstrates superior customer service, comprehensive fieldwork and distinctive sales and marketing programs.

Jeff Norton, general manager, NAPA Under Hood Sales Group, delivered the announcement to Delphi’s Jim Ryan, NAPA sales director.

“I personally would like to thank each and every one of the Delphi team members for your support of our 72 Under Hood Sales Group team members. I feel we are growing as a team and am proud to be a part of the Delphi organization,” said Norton.

Delphi has been a supplier to the NAPA Under Hood Sales Group since 2003, providing fuel pumps, compressors and engine management systems products to the commercial and retail groups. The Under Hood Sales Group attributed customer service and comprehensive training as two critical elements for winning the award. Development of unique sales and marketing programs also played a role in criteria
selection.

“Delphi’s willingness to step up and try new programs to support our sales, and overall organization, is key,” Norton said. “I appreciate Delphi’s level of commitment to the NAPA Under Hood Sales Group.”

“When Jim delivered the news, we were honored to have received this award and proud to be part of the NAPA Under Hood Sales Group organization,” said Dave Barbeau, vice president, Independent Aftermarket, Delphi Product & Service Solutions. “It really speaks to not just a supplier/customer relationship, but a true partnership.”
