Elring recently partnered with the Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group) to provide coast-to-coast coverage in North America.

Working with the distribution footprint of The Group and its European partner, ADI, Elring has expanded its availability to European specialists across the globe, including in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, according to the company.

“The Automotive Parts Services Group continues to align with high-quality, name-brand suppliers,” commented Larry Pavey, CEO of The Group. “The ElringKlinger relationship is an example of this commitment, especially for the growing import nameplate market.”

“The full-service operations of both Federated and Pronto distribution centers will have access to our full portfolio of product,” said ElringKlinger’s North American sales manager, William Atkinson. “Our new Fremont, California, distribution center will support the WD growth along with our expanded customer service operations in Plymouth, Michigan.”

ElringKlinger has intensified its aftermarket distribution activities in North America, the company noted.

At the AAPEX show in Las Vegas, Elring will present its product portfolio and broad range of service activities to booth visitors.

“AAPEX opens a new frontier for Elring gaskets. We have made many plans for the United States and will be sharing our products, direction and new gasket opportunities with our booth visitors,” said Atkinson. Together with a multi-national booth team, Atkinson will be on hand to greet customers and answer questions throughout the show.

The booth highlight will be a hands-on engine experience. Additionally, high-tech cylinder-head gaskets and newly launched gasket sets will be on display. The booth team will also provide insights into a brand new service concept for the U.S. market, which includes needs-oriented specialist information and practical training, the release noted.

Elring also will increasingly expand its online connection to its customers. “Using the new social media platforms to address questions, concerns and new product releases will be one of the innovations,” stated Atkinson.

Elring continues to add to its product coverage with over 300 parts being released in the last three months. “Product availability is key to growth efforts, and our team remains focused on releasing a continual flow of new sales opportunities for our North American customers,” explained Director of Sales for Latin and North America Jens Graessler. “There are many exciting releases to come from Elring that will provide new and profitable sales opportunity for all of our supporting customers.”
