Federated And KOI To Host 54th Annual Cavalcade Of Customs In Cincinnati

More than 100 Federated Car Care Center owners will be attending the 2014 show. Federated and KOI suppliers will have vendor booths on site during the three-day event.

STAUNTON, Va. — Federated and its longtime member KOI Auto Parts are partnering again to host the 54th annual Cavalcade of Customs and Training Expo in Cincinnati, Jan. 10-12, at the Duke Energy Convention Center.

“The Federated-KOI Cavalcade of Customs has turned into one of the nation’s premier training and educational events for 121937koijpg_00000071212shop owners and service technicians,” said Phil Moore, senior vice president of Federated Auto Parts. “Dave Wesselman and the entire KOI staff do a tremendous job every year of putting together an outstanding schedule of training classes from the leading suppliers in the industry. Last year, 550 KOI customers participated in over 1,200 classes and we know those numbers will be even bigger in 2014.”

More than 100 Federated Car Care Center owners will be attending the 2014 show. Federated and KOI suppliers will have vendor booths on site during the three-day event. The training sessions will feature 28 different classes conducted at various times for a total of 84 available courses. On Friday morning Jan. 10, students from Cincinnati-area vocational schools will participate in a short program, hearing from industry experts. The students then can spend the rest of the day attending the car show.

“Every year the Cavalcade of Customs gets better and better, and the 2014 show will be no exception with the wide array of training classes offered to Federated Car Care members,” said Wesselman, president of KOI. “Our customers have let us know how valuable these training courses are in helping them grow their businesses. We want to thank our vendor partners for working closely with us to develop this valuable educational program.”

The training workshops will feature classes for professional mechanical, body shop and management customers taught by qualified instructors from Federated and KOI manufacturing partners like Federal-Mogul, Dorman, Standard, ACDelco, Four Seasons, Bosch, Motorcraft, Denso, Gates, Monroe, Motorcraft, Moog, Remy, Davico, Brembo, Kost USA, CRP Industries, Specialty Alignment, DuPont Refinish, PPG Paint and MMM Automotive. KOI customers will receive a three-day admission pass to the show plus all classes, lunches, and an incentive and savings booklet for a great low price.
