Federated Car Care Contest Winner Picks His Pickup

Willie B and Kevin Byrd, Two Guys Garage; Don Sucher, Key Line Automotive Warehouse; winner Doug Dugger, Custom Auto and Repair; and Rusty Bishop, Federated Auto PartsSTAUNTON, Va. — Federated Car Care Center member Doug Dugger chose classic over contemporary when he picked a fully restored 1949 Chevy pickup as his grand prize in the Federated Car Care “Pick Your Pickup” Sweepstakes. Dugger received his “new” pickup during a reception held on Nov. 4 at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

Dugger, the owner of Custom Auto and Repair, a Federated Car Care Center in Twin Falls, Idaho, chose the 1949 pickup over a 2015 Chevy Colorado with some guidance from Kevin Byrd and Willie B of Two Guys Garage. Also on hand to help with the selection was NASCAR legend and Federated spokesman Kenny Schrader.

In addition to the one-of-a-kind pickup, Dugger also received a trip for two to Las Vegas and badges to attend the AAPEX and SEMA shows. Custom Auto and Repair is a customer of Federated member, Key Line Automotive Warehouse and its owners, Don and Dee Sucher of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

“Doug was thrilled to leave Las Vegas with his pickup choice, the 1949 Chevy,” said Phil Moore, senior vice president for Federated Auto Parts. “Doug is a real car buff so the 1949 pickup was the perfect prize. We want to thank Doug for his continued support of the Federated Car Care program and thank Don and Dee for being dedicated Federated members.”
