For the second year in a row, the Friction Materials Standards Institute (FMSI) has honored Dynamic Friction Co. with its New Assignments and Applications Award for being the single-largest contributor of new parts assignment to the institute.
FMSI recognized Dynamic Friction at its June 4 annual meeting in Longboat Key, Florida. Frank Oliveto, chairman and president of FMSI, presented the award to Dynamic Friction Research & Development Manager Jesus Villalobos.
“To be recognized for something we at DFC do everyday is truly an honor and a humbling experience,” Villalobos said.
Dynamic Friction has taken the lead in identifying, addressing and solidifying alternative and value-added solutions to the complexities involving modern brake technology, according to the company.
“We are pleased and honored to have been recognized by FMSI for the second year running,” CEO Dan Nguyen said. “This award is a testament to our team’s dedication to research and development and unwavering commitment in providing our customers with the most complete and updated brake program.“
Since 1948, FMSI has been providing the automotive aftermarket with the most recognized standardization of OE part numbers utilized universally by brake and clutch manufacturers, distributors and installers.
