Gary Martin To Lead Automotive Parts Associates Inc.

Martin took on the role from retiring President/CEO Dan Freeman, effective March 1.

LENEXA, Kan. – Automotive Parts Associates (APA) has announced the appointment of Gary Martin, AAP, as president and CEO. Martin took on the role from retiring president/CEO, Dan Freeman effective March 1.
 
Martin has been serving the shareholders of APA as executive vice president since February of 2013. Previously, Martin was with CARDONE Industries as director of traditional market sales for Canada and director of program distribution sales for North America.
 
As president and CEO of APA, Martin will direct all facets of the group’s operations while working closely with the APA board of directors to serve the needs of all APA Shareholders.
 
“I am honored to be associated with such a talented and focused group of people," Martin said. "I look forward to working closely with this organization as we continue to grow and prosper in this ever-changing environment which we call the automotive aftermarket.”
 
“I am thrilled to pass the torch to Gary, who I know to be talented and thoughtful,” said Dan Freeman. “He was the unanimous choice of the board of directors.”
