GMB Launches New Mobile Catalog App

GMB Catalog offers all of GMB's current product offerings, allowing you to search by make, model, year, as well as cross referenced part numbers.

CARSON, Calif. — GMB North America Inc. has gone mobile, launching their mobile catalog application, GMB Catalog for Apple and Android in both English and Spanish.

GMB Catalog offers all of GMB’s current product offerings, allowing you to search by make, model, year, as well as cross referenced part numbers.

“While it is a very important year for GMB that we are celebrating our 70th anniversary, our goal remains the same: to continue providing the market with the most advanced technology and constantly innovating our product offering and our brand to support our customers with the best products and service available,” says Rod Ajates, GMB’s Marketing and Sales Manager. “We are very excited about this new technology which we can provide to our customers and end-users. We hope that it will make their jobs that much easier, and GMB product information that much more accessible.”

In addition to their catalog information, GMB’s contact information and social media pages on Facebook and Twitter (find them @GMBNorthAmerica) can also be easily accessed in the contact section of the app.

ost of our workdays are spent typing and mouse-clicking our way through hundreds of parts requests and catalogue prompts, and we rely heavily on computers for most aspects of our daily operations. Think of the last time your store’s internet or server network went down. Catalogue and inventory information, ordering and receiving functions, invoice printers, driver dispatch and order tracking, and even time clock access are all crippled when the plug gets pulled. Chaos ensues, and if there is no backup plan in place, work grinds to a halt. Depending on corporate policy, you may even have to close the doors until you are back up and running.
