Integrated Supply Network Partners With MAC Tools

Through the partnership, MAC Tools will utilize ISN’s EZ Garage software-as-a-service solution.

Integrated Supply Network (ISN), the nation’s largest independent automotive wholesaler of automotive tools and equipment, announced a partnership with MAC Tools, a leading global supplier of automotive tools and equipment.

Through the partnership, MAC Tools will utilize ISN’s EZ Garage software-as-a-service solution. MAC Tools has more than 1,200 franchisees and distributors in the United States and Canada who will gain instant access to a new end-to-end digital search and order platform featuring more than 36,000 specialty items, fast delivery and a dedicated support team, according to ISN.

“Traditional distribution has long been behind the innovation curve. However, ISN’s strategy of digital solutions with customer and supplier partners is yielding exponential growth,” said Tim Kolbus, CEO of ISN. “We strive to passionately service our customer and supplier partners. This latest implementation of the MAC Tools EZ Garage solution conveys the scale of transformation we can achieve with digital supply chain solutions. We are honored to be partnering with MAC Tools as we continue to become the most trusted partner for automotive tools and equipment.”

EZ Garage, developed by ISN, is a fully integrated one-stop digital platform that provides users an easy-to-use search and order experience, complete order status visibility, earlier access to new products and promotions. The platform is supported by ISN’s distribution network of nine U.S. fulfillment centers that enable same-day shipping and two-day delivery to U.S. distributors for most products. For MAC Tools distributors in Canada, a planned Phase 2 deployment will enable five- to seven-day delivery, an improvement from the current two- to three-week delivery timeframe. Additionally, direct shipments will be enabled to Canada from the United States.

“MAC Tools is pleased to partner with Integrated Supply Network to utilize their innovative digital platform, EZ Garage,” said Mike Brubaker, vice president of sales at MAC Tools. “The desire for an improved distributor experience with reliability and scalability were key drivers for our decision to partner with ISN. We look forward to a successful partnership and implementation of the EZ Garage solution, to create long-term value for our distributors and customers.”

In addition to creating growth opportunities for distributors, the EZ Garage solution reduces the total cost of ownership for central operations of distributed buying networks. EZ Garage streamlines procurement and operations processes, integrates with various ERPs, enables advanced business intelligence reporting and features customized workflows, branding and access levels, according to ISN.
