JohnDow Industries Adds The WindStorm Fan Line To Its EuroVent Brand

WindStorm Fans, ranging in size from 8 to 20 feet, improve productivity in a warehouse, auto dealership or auto repair center as they cool the space in the summer and make it warmer and more comfortable in the winter, the company says.

BARBERTON, Ohio — JohnDow Industries recently announced the addition of the WindStorm Fan line to its EuroVent brand.

WindStorm Fans, ranging in size from 8 to 20 feet, improve productivity in a warehouse, auto dealership or auto repair center as they cool the space in the summer and make it warmer and more comfortable in the winter, the company says.

The fans are offered in 208-230V and 460V inputs with a variable speed drive that allows the fans to be set at a desired speed. Fans are available in black, yellow, blue, red, green and white in all four sizes.

A WindStorm Fan can:

•Reduce energy consumption
•Reduce heating and cooling costs
•Create a cooling breeze in summer
•Push warm air back down to the work area in winter
•Improve indoor air quality and improve workplace comfort
•Helps reduce moisture and humidity
•Replace inefficient small ceiling fans

Creating a breeze of 3 mph will lower the apparent temperature by 6-7 degrees creating a 4-6 percent savings per degree reduction on a warehouse cooling bill. A single 16-foot diameter WindStorm Fan will improve the indoor air quality for 5,000 square feet and with superior blade design, WindStorm Fans use less energy to move the same amount of air as compared to other HVLS (high volume/low speed) fans, according to the company.

Air movement will provide a 7-10°F cooling effect helping to keep employees safe and comfortable as temperatures rise. The WindStorm Fans are controlled by a state-of-the-art industrial variable frequency drive (VFD) allowing the owner to adjust the speed of the fan to the perfect speed for the facility and the operating conditions.
