JohnDow Launches New Dynamic Brand TPMS Sensor Line

According to JDI, the Dual Valve Technology gives technicians the flexibility to interchange a rubber snap-in valve or a metal clamp-in valve on the same sensor depending on the application. In addition to the DVT sensors, TPMS service kits and tools are also part of the new Dynamic TPMS product line offering.

BARBERTON, Ohio – JohnDow Industries (JDI) recently introduced its new Dynamic TPMS product line featuring multi-application DVT (Dual Valve Technology) sensors.

Multi-application sensors have the ability to work on more than one vehicle application and provide wider vehicle coverage, according to JDI. The six Dynamic DVT sensors provide 85 percent brand-to-brand coverage for domestic and Asian vehicles.

Recognizing that tire stores and service facilities are struggling to keep pace with TPMS technology, JohnDow has partnered with Tiremetrix to develop the Dynamic TPMS Zone as an online go-to resource for repair facilities that service TPMS. Installers will be able to gain instant access to the industries’ leading database of TPMS information with this new state-of-the-art tool available 24/7.

Joe Dease, president of JDI, commented, “In addition to offering a quality product, we recognize the importance of providing our customers with the necessary technical information to support them with the ever-changing TPMS technology. The bottom line – with the Dynamic TPMS Zone, service facilities will be more confident and profitable in the TPMS category.”

In February, JDI Dynamic announced the appointment of Ed Jones to the position of director, wheel service products. With 32 years of automotive aftermarket experience, Jones has spent the past six years working in the TPMS market. He is regarded as a leading TPMS trainer nationally and is a Tire Association Automotive Tire Service Advanced Instructor with a wealth of TPMS product knowledge.
