As an official partner, MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. will provide technical support for Grunewald and his Formula DRIFT Chevrolet Camaro. It will also have the MAHLE brand decal displayed on the No. 79 car.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. (formerly MAHLE Clevite Inc.) has announced its sponsorship of Formula DRIFT driver Conrad Grunewald for the 2014 Professional Drifting Championship Series.

As an official partner, MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. will provide technical support for Grunewald and his Formula DRIFT Chevrolet Camaro. It will also have the MAHLE brand decal displayed on the No. 79 car.

Formula DRIFT is the first official drifting series in North America. Grunewald has been competing in the series since its inception in 2004, and formed the Conrad Grunewald Racing Team in 2009.

The 2014 Formula DRIFT series season kicked off on the streets of Long Beach April 4. Grunewald finished in the top-15 and is now ranked 13th in the 2014 Formula DRIFT Pro Championship standings heading into the next event at Road Atlanta outside Atlanta on May 10.
