MAM Software Returns From Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week With Award For Cloud Cataloging

MAM also attended several satellite events including the AIA Canada Night and the Automotive Distribution Network Annual Vendor Reception.

MAM Software recently collected the Business Tools AAPEX Product Showcase Award for its Autocat+ electronic parts catalog.

Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW) took place Nov. 4-8 and comprised of two major trade exhibitions: the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) and the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA). The exhibitions were held at the Sands Expo Convention Center and the Las Vegas Convention Center. MAM also attended several satellite events including the AIA Canada Night and the Automotive Distribution Network Annual Vendor Reception.

MAM’s Autopart Online management software was a major attraction at its AAPEX booth, with jobbers and warehouse distributors keen to see the benefits that the Software as a Service (SaaS) model can provide, according to the company. At SEMA, tire businesses showed a great deal of interest in VAST Enterprise business management and POS system, as MAM demonstrated its functionality to improve productivity and enhance customer service.

Following the positive feedback received from visitors during AAIW, MAM Software CEO Mike Jamieson expects a busy time ahead. “This was the first time we have attended AAIW under the new MAM identity and we’re extremely pleased with the results we are seeing following this event,” Jamieson said. “A number of opportunities have opened up to us and we’ve gained many new prospects that we’ll be contacting in the next couple of weeks.”

“It provided us with a chance to show leading industry professionals the innovation and dedication we put into our products. Our cloud-hosted Software as a Service solutions received a great deal of interest; they not only reduce the upfront costs of software, they carry a range of other benefits such as remote data backups and automatic updates.

“We were delighted to cap off a successful week by picking up the Business Tools AAPEX Product Showcase Award for our Autocat+ electronic parts catalog. It’s extremely rewarding that voters recognized the importance of accurate, up-to-date parts data, and appreciate the contribution our unique catalog solution can provide.”
