The correct answer for the November contest is the Chevy Blazer. The winner for November is Steve Copsey, a counterman at Liter’s Automotive in Nevada, Missouri.

Now, let’s get to know the November “Guess the Car” champion.

CM: How long have you been working in the auto parts business?

SC: Almost two years.

CM: What do you like most about your job?

SC: The interaction with the customers and getting to meet all the new people. Trying to distinguish what they’re describing versus what they actually need.

CM: What’s the coolest car you’ve ever owned or worked on?

SC: The coolest car that I’ve ever worked on and I kind of drove was a ’77 Pontiac Trans Am. It was a Bandit clone. I love those cars because you don’t have a computer telling other computers, “Well, he did step on the gas, and we might need to tell the transmission something.” It’s all controlled by your foot.

CM: Do you have any interesting hobbies?

SC: The fun thing is I work on little models – the 1:24-scale plastic models cars.

CM: Any projects you’re particularly excited about?

SC: I’ve been working on a ’41 Plymouth. I’ve changed the instructions around so much that I’m no longer putting the inline 6 in. I’m putting a 426 Hemi in it now. So it’s turned into a real project because nothing fits, and you have to bend everything out of the way.

CM: What’s your dream car?

SC: My dream car is a 1969 Daytona.
