Meguiar’s recently announced the newest addition to its Hybrid Ceramic line of products: Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax. 

Continuing to expand on its proprietary Hybrid Ceramic technology, the two-step system provides results unlike any other wash & wax on the market, according to Irvine, California-based Meguiar’s.

“Meguiar’s has been at the forefront of bringing ceramic technology to consumers, releasing five innovative new Hybrid Ceramic products over the last two years,” the company said in a news release.

The new Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax is made up of two separate liquids that include a Hybrid Ceramic Wash and a Hybrid Ceramic SiO₂ Boost.

“For those looking to achieve the ultimate car wash and extreme water-beading protection right from home, simply mix these two components in a standard bucket and get ready to wash,” the company explained. “During washing, the Ceramic Wash works to foam and lift dirt for gentle cleaning, while the Ceramic SiO₂ Boost is a wax additive that creates instant, extreme water-beading protection. This wash & wax process also leaves behind a slick finish on the paint, making drying the vehicle’s exterior even easier.”

Meguiar’s entire Hybrid Ceramic line leverages SiO₂ technology, a polymer matrix of silicon carbide, silicon dioxide and silicon nitride.

The new Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax is formulated to be used in conjunction with other Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic products, including the Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax, Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax, Hybrid Ceramic Detailer and the Hybrid Ceramic Quik Clay Kit. However, it can safely and effectively be used with other Meguiar’s products, according to the company.

Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax comes with 48 ounces of Hybrid Ceramic Wash and 8 ounces of Hybrid Ceramic SiO₂ Boost. This contains enough product for approximately 16 washes.
