SAN ANTONIO, Texas At the 2012 Winter Shareholder Meeting Monday in Aventura, Fla., Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper shareholders and channel partners were treated to a surprise visit from the Miami Dolphin cheerleaders as part of the day’s general session. A collaborative event, the meeting includes reports detailing product, sales and marketing and information technology initiatives, all designed to help sell more parts. The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders and Alliance CEO John Washbish welcome shareholders and guests to the annual Winter Meeting.
"We’re delighted to have the Miami Dolphin cheerleaders in attendance at our shareholder event," said President and CEO John Washbish. "Our meetings are designed as another way for us to conduct serious business and advance our mission in the aftermarket, which is ultimately to sell more of our channel partners’ products through our distribution chain. By including entertainment like the Miami Dolphin cheerleaders, we are able to bring some fun and excitement to the mix!"
Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper shareholder meetings are held twice per year and bring together owners and key management members with channel partners and the headquarters office. In addition to reports and general sessions, the groups’ oversight committees meet to review current and future initiatives to drive growth and additional business.
