STAUNTON, Va. — Federated member Motown Automotive will hold its 14th annual golf classic on Monday, Aug. 10 at the Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, Mich. Proceeds from the annual outing will be donated to the Amie J. Litzinger M.D. Endowed Scholarship Fund to help provide scholarships to deserving students attending the University of Toledo medical school.

“Our annual golf outing is a great time to thank our customers, have some fun and give back by donating the tournament proceeds to such a worthwhile cause, the Amie Litzinger Scholarship Fund,” said Jim Sechrist, owner of Motown Automotive. “We want to thank our vendor partners for sponsoring this year’s tournament. They are instrumental in making this outing a must-attend event. It promises to be an enjoyable day with some great surprises for the participants.”

The Motown Automotive Golf Classic will begin on Aug. 10 at 8:30 a.m. with registration and breakfast. Golf will commence with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. followed by dinner and awards at 4:00 p.m. Federated spokesperson Kenny Schrader will be on-hand to meet and greet the golfers, and there will be a raffle and on-course contests.
