My 00′ dodge neon has 207k + miles on it with both original motor and transmision. I routinely change oil and flush the transmission like one should. What can I further do to prolong the life of the motor and transmission?

It sounds like you’re doing it. So long as you keep up with routine maintenance and be religious about it, there’s no reason why you can’t get many more miles out of that power train.
