CRANBURY, N.J. – CRP Automotive has launched a new vehicle-specific power steering hose line for popular European makes. The new Rein Automotive Power Steering Hose Program was designed to meet a growing need for replacement assemblies and, according to CRP, solves key service issues such as availability, cost and reliability. Before being offered by CRP, many of these power steering hose assemblies were only available from the OE dealer, and at a premium price, the company states.

Rein Automotive Power Steering Hose assemblies are designed as a direct replacement for the original part and engineered to deliver exact OE performance, CRP says. As an option, some come supplied with all required hardware such as metric clamps, O-rings and washers, offering a complete repair solution.

Rein Automotive power steering hoses are designed to fit the vehicle and work properly the first time, so shops can save on labor and help prevent comebacks. The new line includes: pressure hose assemblies for pump to gear, pump to rack and gear to cooler; return hose assemblies for reservoir to pipe, cooler to reservoir, gear to cooler, rack to cooler, and rack to reservoir; reservoir line hose for reservoir to pump and suction hoses.

Application coverage features popular makes and models from Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Volvo and VW. The program will consist of more than 125 SKUs with coverage for more than 8.5 million vehicles in operation.

In addition to the Rein Automotive Power Steering Hose Program, Rein Automotive offers anti-vibration mounts, coolant hoses, air conditioning and the Rein First Aid program, all of which can be found on CRP’s online application catalog, accessed through the CRP Rein Automotive brand website, www.reinautomotive.com  or ShowMeTheParts.com.
