GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — As part of a social media campaign promoting its primary sponsorship of World champion driver Clay Millican, Parts Plus has announced that Douglas Newman of Tucson, Ariz., is the grand prize winner of a trip for two to November’s NHRA championship event in Pomona, Calif., according to Mike Lambert, president of the Automotive Distribution Network.

“Throughout the 2012 NHRA Full Throttle Series, Network members have hosted thousands of customers for trackside hospitality events nationwide, providing an unforgettable race weekend,” Lambert said. “Clay Millican and the entire Parts Plus Top Fuel team always go out of their way to provide amazing pit access to our hospitality guests. We’re happy to award this unique race experience to a dedicated fan of this thrilling spectator sport.”

Race fans who clicked “Like” on the Parts Plus Facebook page and completed the online entry form became eligible for the NHRA giveaway. As the grand prize winner, Newman will receive a trip for two to the NHRA Full Throttle Series finals on Nov. 8–11, including airfare, race tickets and pit-area hospitality, and the opportunity to meet Millican and the Parts Plus team.
