GERMANTOWN, Tenn. – Parts Plus has announced it will be the primary sponsor of six-time World Champion Clay Millican and his Top Fuel dragster during the 2011 NHRA Full Throttle Series.
“For 12 events this season, Parts Plus will team with MPE Motorsports as the primary sponsor of Clay Millican, the winningest Top Fuel driver in the country,” said Mike Lambert, president of the Automotive Distribution Network. “Clay’s racing success is complemented by his appearances as the host of shows on SPEED TV and MTV2, making him one of the most recognized faces in the sport.”
As the primary sponsor, the Parts Plus logo and vibrant orange and red color scheme will be prominently featured all over Millican’s dragster. Parts Plus will also receive exposure with large logos appearing on the transporter and the team vans and race uniforms.
