Penray Named As Approved Supplier To Federated Auto Parts

Founded in 1954, Penray manufactures liquid and aerosol products in one of two plants in Illinois.

WHEELING, Ill. — The Penray Companies Inc. was recently awarded approved supplier status for their full line of products and installer kits for Federated Auto Parts.

“With the average age of cars and light-duty trucks over 11 years, the need to maintain vehicles with high quality service chemicals is more important than ever,” said Mark Kardon, director of marketing for Penray. “Partnering with Federated is a perfect fit for Penray. Our strong brand presence in the commercial market fits very nicely with Federated’s business model of a strong commercial offering. Penray offers a broad variety of service chemicals and installer kits to support the Federated Car Care Center program.”

Federated Auto Parts, headquartered in Staunton, Va., is one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in North America. Federated is dedicated to supporting its customers with quality name brand parts, programs designed to grow their businesses, and experienced counter people who are knowledgeable in today’s evolving automotive technology.

“The opportunity to be associated with such a strong market leader is an honor. Our sales and marketing team is preparing an extensive program kick-off. The goal is to reach and educate Federated members about the Penray product line and installer kits, helping them increase revenue and customer satisfaction,” said Tony Costa, automotive national sales director for Penray.

Founded in 1954, Penray manufactures liquid and aerosol products in one of two plants in Illinois. Both facilities incorporate lean manufacturing techniques for optimal efficiency and quality control. The company has four separate business units – automotive, heavy-duty, export, and custom manufacturing for private label customers. Penray offers a variety of formulations so customers can enjoy Penray products that they know are compliant with all state and local environmental regulations.
