The single grand prize winner, who will be announced on Oct. 12, will receive airfare, accommodations and race tickets to attend the 48th annual NHRA Finals for Nov. 10-11 at Auto Club Raceway, as well as $200 cash, a Valvoline TracPack, one-day access to the Don Schumacher Racing hospitality area, a meet-and-greet with the team’s driver, Don Schumacher, and much more.

A single runner-up will receive a Don Schumacher Racing Funny Car rear quarter panel as a second prize. Fifteen third prize winners also will be announced, 10 of whom will receive an autographed hat from NHRA Funny Car driver Jack Beckman and five of whom will receive an autographed car part also signed by Beckman.

The co-branded sweepstakes from Pep Boys and Valvoline is part of an ongoing relationship that makes use of Pep Boys’ name within the automotive aftermarket and Valvoline’s ongoing commitment to making advances in lubrication technology using motorsports as a test bed.

Valvoline’s NextGen motor oil is sourced from 50 percent recycled oil and is a greener alternative to oils derived entirely from natural resources. NextGen is found in vehicles competing in NASCAR, NHRA and a variety of other motorsports, and is available in conventional and MaxLife formulations.
