If the numbers 9, 24, 48 and 88 don’t mean anything to you, then you’re probably not a NASCAR fan. But if they do, then you’re probably familiar with Rick Hendrick’s racing dynasty.

Hendrick, a 2017 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee, is the founder of Hendrick Motorsports, which supports four full-time Chevrolet teams in the NASCAR Cup Series. His current team consists of Chase Elliott (No. 9), William Byron (No. 24), Jimmie Johnson (No. 48) and Alex Bowman (No. 88).

Over the years, Hendrick’s drivers have posted 249 NASCAR Cup Series wins. His stable has included retired NASCAR legends Jeff Gordon (No. 24) and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (No. 88).

Counterman Senior Editor Josh Cable recently spent some time on the 140-acre Hendrick Motorsports campus in Concord, N.C. He snapped these photos from the Hendrick Motorsports Museum.
