Professionals’ Choice Auto Parts—It Pays To Be A Member!

Our successful approach to serving our members has become a great mix of buying power, marketing support, customer loyalty programs and education.

As the fastest-growing program group, Automotive Parts Associates, Inc. (APA) is a member-owned cooperative made up of over 100 independent warehouse distributors in North America with over 375 locations throughout the United States and Canada. Its members’ distribution centers offer a wide assortment of national brand product lines as well as a substantial line of Professionals’ Choice private brand products.

Many of these are made by the suppliers you and your customers are already supporting.

Our successful approach to serving our members has become a great mix of buying power, marketing support, customer loyalty programs and education.

We are continually monitoring the pulse of the industry and our shareholders to make sure we’re adding the right lines at the right price with the right terms.

APA has a suite of IT solutions, including Data Warehouse Solutions, a proprietary Internet Pricing Portal for members, EDI and eCommerce solutions that allows membership effective tools to enhance operations and bottom line profitability.

Additionally, we offer customer loyalty programs that include two major sweepstakes and an incentive trip to further grow business opportunities and relationships generating greater profitability.

Another great value APA brings to its members is education. Several times a year, APA offers opportunities for its members to network amongst themselves as well as with key manufacturers to ensure that the latest programs and industry trends are at the forefront for membership.

Our annual meeting each March offers educational sessions on the hottest topics as well as networking opportunities to talk business strategy with your peers. The Approved and Preferred APA manufacturers are also on-hand to interact with membership and create the environment for enhanced programs to keep APA at the leading edge in the market.

We also have two regional meetings each year to discuss hot issues pertinent to specific market areas. And, during industry week in Las Vegas, we have our various committee meetings, complimentary group breakfasts and lunches for more networking. This event serves as a second national meeting event for all APA Shareholders.

APA has active committees made up of its members that include a Board of Directors, a Product Committee and a Technology Committee. By supporting these member committees, we are continually assuring we’re headed in the right direction for the membership.

APA, which operates as a not-for-profit group, believes our buying group is strong because we put our members first, treat every member equally and maintain a strong foundation for our members so they can build their businesses, while also building strong loyalty with their customers. APA provides an industry leading value proposition for its shareholders.
