Ricky Wang Joins Brake Parts Inc As Sales Vice President And General Manager, China

Wang served as the vice president and general manager of East Lake New Energy Automobile Corp. in China where he was responsible for its specialty vehicle business.

MCHENRY, Ill. – Ricky Wang has joined Brake Parts Inc (BPI) as sales vice president and general manager, China, it was announced today by David Overbeeke, president and CEO.

“We are pleased to have Ricky on board as our new sales vice president and general manager of BPI China,” said Overbeeke. “With over 19 years of experience in the automotive industry, Ricky brings a rich background in industrial sales, marketing and general management to his new position where he will be responsible for expanding our business in the Asia Pacific region.”

Most recently, Wang served as the vice president and general manager of East Lake New Energy Automobile Corp. in China where he was responsible for its specialty vehicle business. Prior to that, he held several key roles with multinational automotive companies, including director of aftermarket and trailer for ArvinMeritor, China and director of sales and marketing for Goodyear Engineered Products, Asia Pacific. Wang also previously served as the international sales and marketing manager for Sensus Precision Die Casting Inc. in Russellville, Ky.

Wang holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from University of Science & Technology Beijing.
