Unlike solid flywheels, dual-mass flywheels cannot be resurfaced during an aftermarket clutch installation, escalating the total cost associated with clutch replacement, according to the company. These solid flywheel conversion clutch kits offer a low cost, high quality alternative for customers needing to replace the dual-mass flywheel clutch system.

The new part numbers fit the following popular applications:
•K70638-02F fits 2011-2005 Volkswagen Beetle, Golf, Jetta & Rabbit with VIO of 166,000
•K70771-01F fits 2005-1997 Audi A4 & AF Quattro & Volkswagen Passat with VIO of 98,500

Both kits offer excellent performance at a greatly reduced cost, when compared to a full dual mass flywheel clutch system replacement. All key components are included in the kits, so there is no need to source additional parts.
