Spectra Premium has signed on as a sponsor for the Ken Schrader-piloted entry in the APC United Late Model Series race at Jukasa Motor Speedway in Hagersville, Ontario.
The Aug. 26-27 event marks the APC Series debut for Schrader, who raced at the newly named Jukasa Motor Speedway when it was called Cayuga Motor Speedway. The race also marks the reopening of the speedway.
“It’s neat to see a facility reopening and not wasting away, which unfortunately happens a lot,” Schrader said.
Founded in 1989, Spectra Premium employs more than 1,500 employees across North America. The company designs, engineers, manufactures and distributes key automotive parts for the aftermarket and OEMs.
Boucherville, Quebec-based Spectra Premium makes a motorsport-specific aluminum radiator called the NSCR100, and sponsors several other race teams, including those of J.F. Dumoulin and Alex Tagliani.
“This partnership between the APC Series, Ken Schrader Racing and Spectra Premium is certain to be a successful one during the grand reopening of Jukasa Motor Speedway,” the company said in a news release.
