Take 5 Announces Annual Fundraiser For Kids’ Hospitals

Each year, Take 5 raises funds to ensure that these hospitals can continue providing children with the necessary care without financial limitation.

Take 5 Oil Change kicked off its 16th-annual fundraiser for local children’s hospitals across the United States.

Take 5, home of the stay-in-your-car, 10-minute oil change, recognizes the tireless efforts of health care workers across the nation who care for young patients and continuously seek innovative cures that will change the face of health care for the better. Each year, Take 5 raises funds to ensure that these hospitals can continue providing children with the necessary care without financial limitation.

“These hospitals have served as a beacon of light for so many people, including many of us here in the Take 5 family,” said Danny Rivera, group president and executive vice present of Driven Brands Inc. “Their work is vital, providing life-saving measures to so many of our sons, daughters, brothers and sisters. We want to do our part in making sure that every child who enters those hospitals has the opportunity to lead a healthy life.”

For the second year, Take 5 set its fundraising goal at $1 million. The campaign supports 60 different hospitals throughout the country, with all donations distributed locally. Employees will be collecting customer donations through Sept. 25.

Customers who donate $3 or more will be entered into a raffle for a free oil change. Three winners will be chosen from each location, resulting in nearly 1,800 free oil changes.
