The Aftermarket Foundation Launches New Website

The new website features testimonials from recipients of support from the Foundation as well as comments from the Foundation's board members, along with an option to "donate now."

The industry-focused philanthropic organization The Aftermarket Foundation has launched a new website. The newly redesigned site went live on Aug. 13.

"Through the generosity of one of our board members, Murray Sullivan, and his boss Bill Maggs of National Pronto Association, the Aftermarket Foundation has a sparkling new, completely updated website," said Joe Mittelman, vice president of the foundation. "Everyone reading this should go to www.AftermarketFoundation.org and avail themselves of what we do and who we are."

The Aftermarket Foundation was established 52 years ago. Through the years, the Foundation has helped countless members of the aftermarket who, because of catastrophic illness or accident, have fallen on hard times and have no place left to turn. The new website features testimonials from recipients of support from the Foundation as well as comments from the Foundation’s board members. The Aftermarket Foundation Board of Directors is headed by Chairman Don Schlenger and President Bob Hirsch. All 29 board members are major players in the aftermarket and represent many of the major aftermarket corporations and trade associations, including AAIA, SEMA and MEMA. A list of supporting donors also is shown on the website along with options for making a donation via credit card, PayPal or by check.

"These people give freely of their time and energy to work on our behalf," Mittelman added. "We are able to do our good work because of their intense efforts in collecting charitable contributions for this tax deductible 501(3)C entity."
