The biggest question I encounter is "which brand conventional oil is better?". My reply is usually they are the same, unless you go up to a synthetic oil. I have read the labels, and they all say the same thing. Clarify please?

A sales representative for a major oil company once addressed our local service dealer association. When asked, "What’s the difference in brands?" question he replied: "That depends on what color race car you like best!" Technology tends to drive all like products in the same direction. Tires, motor oils, batteries and other consumer purchased automotive products are really very similar, a product of advanced chemical and manufacturing technologies. You really can’t go wrong with any of the major brands your local parts jobber sells!
