University Of The Aftermarket Opens Registration For The 2014-2015 Leadership 2.0 Class

Leadership 2.0 is an intensive post-graduate-style leadership and business skills education experience designed to promote the development of the next generation of aftermarket leaders.

MIDLAND, Mich. – The University of the Aftermarket has officially opened registration for the next Leadership 2.0 class, which begins Aug. 24-29, on the campus of Northwood University in Midland. The second session will be held March 8-13, 2015, at Northwood’s West Palm Beach, Fla., campus. Participants must attend both sessions.

Leadership 2.0 is an intensive post-graduate-style leadership and business skills education experience designed to promote the development of the next generation of aftermarket leaders. In addition to the two week-long classroom segments – which feature lectures, roundtable discussions, networking sessions, and team research and problem-solving activities – participants work off-site to develop and present team research projects covering key industry issues. Featured presenters include leading aftermarket executives and faculty members of the Northwood University DeVos Graduate School of Management. The class size is limited to 32. Those interested are encouraged to register early as the class sells out every year.

“For the past 20 years, this program has helped develop our industry’s future leaders at all levels of the automotive aftermarket,” said University of the Aftermarket Director Brian Cruickshank. “The fact that it reaches full capacity every year is a testament to the industry’s focus on its own future. Many of today’s industry leaders were once participants in this program.”

The program is designed for early- to mid-career, management-track, high-potential aftermarket professionals in all market segments. Program participants include a mix of aftermarket professionals from manufacturing, retail/wholesale stores, program groups, warehouses, service dealers, associations and other industry segments allied to the motor vehicle aftermarket. This collaborative mix of industry levels is unique in the industry and adds to the educational experience.

The cost of the two-week program is $6,100 and includes tuition, class materials, meals and lodging. More information and registration details are available at www.universityoftheaftermarket.com (click “Course Calendar”) or call 800-551-2882.

Participants receive 7.0 CEUs toward their Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) designations.
