Weathers Auto Supply Signs On With MAM Software

MAM automates Weathers' inventory control, online ordering and electronic cataloging with its Autopart business management software, OpenWebs e-commerce platform and Autocat+ electronic parts catalog.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – MAM Software Inc. has announced it is helping Weathers Auto Supply move its operations into the 21st century by implementing Autopart business management software teamed with online e-commerce and cataloging tools.

Weathers Auto Supply is a family-owned business that has been selling wholesale automotive truck accessories throughout the Northeastern United States for 30 years. The company has partnered with MAM to revamp its internal operations using Autopart business management software and enhance its online presence by deploying OpenWebs e-commerce solutions. Both Autopart and OpenWebs integrate with MAM’s Autocat+ electronic parts catalog, which will enable Weathers’ sales team and customers to conduct product look-ups more easily.

“MAM Software is going to provide a full update of our internal business management software and related processes, along with enhanced online sales capabilities and automation of our cataloging system,” said Van Woodell, owner of Weathers Auto Supply. “We’re moving away from a system that we’ve had for 20 years, where everything had to be entered manually.”

Autocat+ , MAM’s cloud-enabled parts catalog, enables jobbers and parts retailers to easily find and order parts online, according to MAM. Together, Autopart, OpenWebs and Autocat+ will provide Weathers with:

* Advanced inventory forecasting
* Strategic price management capabilities
* Strong e-commerce connectivity
* Streamlined processes for improved sales and customer service

Woodell says the flexible, feature-rich system also will enhance the personal touch of Weathers’ operation, improving their ability to serve their customers. “Customers will be able to order online from real-time inventory, or continue speaking with a salesperson to place orders personally,” Woodell said. “We’re excited that our new software will expand our ability to serve our customers better, and that’s the best possible outcome.”
