GASTONIA, N.C. — WIX Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands, will sponsor two-time NHRA Funny Car Champion Tony Pedregon at four races in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series in 2013.
WIX will serve as the primary sponsor for Pedregon’s 300 mph Toyota Camry at races in Charlotte (April 21), Chicago (June 30), Seattle (Aug. 4) and Pomona, Calif. (Nov. 10).

The Mello Yello Drag Racing Series launched its 2013 season in February with races in Pomona and Phoenix. The series returns to action March 14-17 in Gainesville, Fla., and April 5-7 in Las Vegas before the first WIX primary race at zMAX Dragway April 19-21 in Charlotte.
