Mark Cali, ZF Aftermarket

ZF Aftermarket has announced the appointment of Mark Cali as head of the independent aftermarket for the United States and Canada.

Cali will be responsible for growing the aftermarket sales and expanding product distribution throughout the region. He succeeds Mark Thorpe, who resigned from the company Jan. 11, 2019.

“We are pleased to announce Mark Cali’s appointment to head of the independent aftermarket,” said Steffen Reichelt, head of ZF Aftermarket North America. “He brings into this role a wide range of ZF history and knowledge as well as customer relationships. His experience in the market, passion and level of aggressiveness are the right ingredients to advancing product and sales further.”

Cali started with ZF Aftermarket in 2000. He began his career in product management, leading into sales, inclusive of the national sales manager for retail. He then expanded his expertise into operations before stepping into the head of service sales for North America. Cali will also maintain the role of head of service sales for North America in his new position.

“I’m extremely happy to be back in aftermarket sales,” stated Cali. “The opportunity to work with such a well-established team committed to serving our customers is one I could not pass on, and I look forward to a successful 2019 and beyond.”

Cali earned his bachelor’s degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and obtained his MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest, Illinois.
