ANCO $10,000 Youth Hockey Sponsorship Contest Now Open

Youth teams encouraged to submit two-minute "future hockey stars" video entries at www.ANCOWipers.com by July 15.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A creative two-minute video about your youth hockey team could earn a share of $10,000 in team sponsorships through the ANCO Wipers brand’s innovative "Youth Hockey Stars" contest. ANCO Wipers, The Official Wiper Blade of the National Hockey League, are manufactured by Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corp.

Now through July 15, teams across the U.S. and Canada are encouraged to post a free two-minute video entry to the ANCOWipers.com website. Federal-Mogul Motorparts will award a $1,000 ANCO Future Hockey Stars sponsorship to each of five finalist teams and an additional $5,000 grand-prize team sponsorship to one of the finalists based in part on votes cast by consumers who visit the ANCO site. Consumer voting will begin July 29, and finalists will be announced Aug. 20. The $5,000 grand-prize sponsorship will be awarded Sept. 24.

"This contest is a great way to help teams offset the rising costs associated with youth hockey competition," said ANCO Wipers Brand Manager Tracy Neil. "We know that team members and their family members have tremendous pride in their accomplishments, and ANCO is proud to help reward their dedication to this great sport."

The ANCO Future Hockey Stars contest is open to legal residents of the United States, District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec). All team members must be under the age of 20 and only one entry will be accepted per team. For all rules and restrictions, visit www.ANCOWipers.com. The contest is not affiliated with the NHL.
