Magnum Gaskets By MSI Leads Charge Toward Light-Duty Diesels At AAPEX 2014

LAS VEGAS – Visitors to the 2014 AAPEX Show in Las Vegas last week had the opportunity to see an array of engine parts, fuel injectors and turbochargers to serve the growing light-duty diesel pickup truck market. Gaskets on diesel engines work in especially severe environments and must be designed and manufactured to OE or better standards, according to Magnum Gaskets.

At the Magnum Gaskets AAPEX booth, visitors viewed Magnum’s expanded offering of USA-made, top-quality diesel gaskets with unique features. Magnum’s aftermarket set coverage for Ford Powerstroke V8s, GM Duramax V8s and Dodge/Cummins inline 6 engines, has doubled in 2014 and is on target to expand even more in 2015. These new products join Magnum’s portfolio of gaskets for cars, trucks, high-performance and heavy-duty applications that now exceeds 1,000 SKUs.

“Light-duty diesel components represent one of the best growth opportunities today for the traditional aftermarket,” said Derek Data, Magnum’s vice president.” Expanding Magnum’s light-duty diesel coverage with differentiated sealing products gives our customers every possible advantage to improve their top line and bottom lines.”

Magnum maintains a “USA First” policy that gives priority to manufacturing and sourcing parts and materials in North America. More than 90 percent of Magnum products, including the entire line of light-duty diesel products, are designed, manufactured and packaged in the U.S.A.
