KENOSHA, Wis. — Removing the radiator coolant reservoir cap on a BMW vehicle can be a challenge because the cap is fastened tightly and is difficult to remove by hand. The new Snap-on Radiator Coolant Reservoir Cap Removal Tool (RCR1) is a time saver, making removal of the cap much easier for Snap-on customers that service BMW vehicles.

“It can be a stubborn task to take off the radiator coolant reservoir cap on a BMW,” said Brian Woller, product manager for Snap-on. “Our new RCR1 tool is specifically designed for simple cap removal without the damage pliers can cause. The RCR1 tool fits directly over the cap and has a 3/8” drive allowing a ratchet to be attached, which provides more leverage to get the job done. This ‘must have’ tool is another example of Snap-on meeting the specific needs of its customers with a specialty tool that improves productivity and makes life easier in the service bay.”

Made of nylon, the new Snap-on Radiator Coolant Reservoir Cap Removal Tool (RCR1) will not mar the reservoir cap and is ideal for servicing 2006 to present BMW vehicles.
