Weego Named Authorized SEMA Jump Starting Service Sponsor In Las Vegas

Weego will use its products to provide free jump starts to all feature and booth vehicles throughout the 2016 SEMA Show.

weego-semaWESTAMPTON, N.J.  – Weego, innovator of portable jump starters and rechargeable battery packs, announced it has been named the Authorized SEMA Jump Starting Service Sponsor for the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nov. 1 to 4.

Before, during and after the Show, Weego will have service techs ready to provide jump starts to any feature or booth vehicle exhibiting in the Show. Exhibitors can text their location to 844-805-2906 or send a Tweet to @myweego for help. Large signs placed throughout the Show, promotional post cards, social media posts and trade ads will announce and provide instructions of how to contact Weego for a jump start. Weego will be exhibiting at the Westgate in Booth #16007.

“With exhibitors flat-bedding special show vehicles across the country, idling engines in preparation for the Show and meeting the facility requirements of having all vehicle batteries disconnected from move-in to move-out, the inevitable dead battery happens. At last year’s Show we were called into action multiple times to jump start exhibitors’ vehicles; so in preparation for this year’s Show, we approached the sponsorship team at SEMA and created this unique, first-time-ever program,” said Gerry Toscani, CEO of Weego. “SEMA is the largest and most respected automotive aftermarket show in the world. With an estimated 1,300 cars and trucks on display, including tricked-out and custom, one-of-a-kind four-wheelers, it’s a big honor to be providing this service.”

“Weego is an example of an innovative company providing a valuable service to the automotive industry,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of events. “We’re confident that exhibitors will appreciate and benefit from their participation at the 2016 SEMA Show. Exhibitors that need a jump start during the Show will have peace of mind knowing that help is just a text or Tweet away.”

Weego’s participation in SEMA as a service sponsor is a direct reflection of the brand’s rapid growth in the automotive industry. Since launching in 2014, they have been recognized by industry professionals as a leading manufacturer of lithium-ion jump starters. Packed with features appreciated by moms to mechanics, Weego jump starters are capable of jump starting any engine up to large V8s.

Weego’s latest product, Jump Starter 44 is entered in this year’s New Product Showcase.
