GASTONIA, N.C. – WIX Filters has launched its 2015 FFA Box Top Redemption Program. Through April 30, students in participating FFA chapters across the United States can redeem WIX Filters box tops for a donation from WIX. To date, WIX has raised more than $700,000 for the National FFA Organization.

“We are thrilled to be entering our 29th year of supporting the National FFA Organization,” said Jennifer Gibson, brand manager for WIX Filters. “This program is a great opportunity for local chapters to not only raise money, but build momentum for their upcoming projects and initiatives.”

Each box top amounts to 25 cents, and the four chapters that submit the most box tops will receive a $1,000 bonus. WIX also will send a $1,000 check to the chapter that shows the highest percentage increase over last year’s fundraiser, and bonuses are in addition to the money each chapter earns for each box top.

To help support their local FFA chapters and generate more box tops for donation, participating auto parts stores will display posters and promote the purchase of WIX filters.

Donations will be awarded during the National FFA Convention & Expo Oct. 28-31 in Louisville, Ky.

Last year, WIX donated $34,160 to FFA chapters across the country. The five chapters that earned a $1,000 bonus were:

* Chamberlain FFA, Tampa, Fla.
* Centennial FFA, Utica, Neb.
* Cheney FFA, Cheney, Wash.
* Dade County FFA, Dade City, Fla.
* West Central Area FFA, Barrett, Minn.
