New Generation Of Rechargeable LED Flashlights From Coast On Display At The National Hardware Show

PORTLAND, Ore. — Coast will be exhibiting its all-new line of rechargeable LED flashlights, as well as a wide array of other new flashlights, headlamps, lanterns, knives and multi-tools, at the National Hardware Show May 7-9 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Coast will display the products at Booth No. 6437.

Coast’s goal is to design and build the best LED flashlights available, just as feature rich and dependable for do-it-yourself tool enthusiasts as they are for the professional remodelers, builders, inspectors, electricians and plumbers who praise Coast’s products, the company says. The new rechargeable flashlights have attained that goal, according to the company.

Leading the (re)charge are five all-new LED flashlights – the HP7R, HP5R, A25R, A22R and A9R. They all (except the A9R) feature Coast’s exclusive new Flex Charge Dual Power Rechargeable System – including the Pro-Tek Charging Port, with a tail cap that pops up to reveal a micro USB port the charging cable plugs into. Not just extremely cool, there are no parts to lose and the system stays clean from dust and debris, the company says.

Lithium rechargeable batteries are included, but the lights can also run on standard alkaline batteries (except the A9R). Batteries can be charged inside the flashlight, or outside with a spare cartridge that is included, so they can always have a fresh battery ready.

Here are the specs for each light, based on the ANSI FL1 Flashlight Standard when using the rechargeable batteries.
