Kevin Harvick To Chat With Fans During Aug. 13 #ChampionChat Session

NASCAR Sprint Cup driver to answer questions from Champion community via Twitter from 7 to 7:30 p.m. E.T.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Racing fans and other members of the “Performance Driven” Champion community can chat live online with NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Kevin Harvick during Federal-Mogul’s next #ChampionChat social media session, Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 7 to 7:30 p.m. E.T. Anyone can join the conversation by following #ChampionChat on Twitter.

Harvick, driver of the No. 29 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet and official spokesperson for the iconic Champion brand of spark plugs, wiper blades and chemical additives, welcomes racing fans and other consumers to ask questions about his racing experiences during each monthly #ChampionChat session. To submit a question, simply add the #ChampionChat hashtag to the end of each message.

“Kevin has a lot of fun during these live sessions, and so do the thousands of fans who connect with him each month,” said Federal-Mogul Brand Strategy Manager Jessica Wynn. “This series is a great way to learn what’s really involved in competing at the highest level of professional racing.”

Currently fourth in Sprint Cup driver points, Harvick will be preparing for Sunday’s Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway, Brooklyn, Mich.

In addition to the monthly #ChampionChat sessions, Harvick connects with the Champion community through several innovative grassroots initiatives, including the widely popular “Search for a Champion” racing sponsorship contest. He also records video “Touts” that are available through the @ChampionPlugs Twitter feed as well as www.Tout.com (search for #TeamChampion).
