New Hampshire Motor Speedway Adds Bond Auto Parts To Marquee Through 2016

New England auto parts dealer named “Official Auto Parts Retailer” of Magic Mile through 2016; will continue ACT race sponsorship.

LOUDON, N.H. – New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) and Bond Auto Parts officials announced today a contract renewal, ensuring the New England-based company will serve as the “Official Auto Parts Retailer” of the speedway through 2016. The agreement also extends the entitlement sponsorship of the American-Canadian Tour Bond Auto Parts ACT Invitational – something it’s done for the last two years.

“Our multi-course facility, with on-track testing and competition from the various forms of motorsports, offers the ultimate test for automotive parts performance here at New Hampshire Motor Speedway,” said Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager of the speedway. “In addition, I really admire Bond’s support of the weekend ‘Do It Yourselfer,’ the auto repair businesses and grass-roots racing here in New England. We are pleased they will continue to use our speedway and events in their marketing and brand enhancement. Their sponsorship of the ACT Invitational has made it one of the biggest and most exciting regional races of the year.”

Bond Auto Parts, a family owned and third-generation operated company, has been serving the New England area since 1956. This Vermont-based company has been doing business with New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the past five years, providing hospitality to their loyal customers during NASCAR events before eventually growing into the sponsor of the ACT race for the last two years.

After seeing the value in its partnership with the speedway, Bond management decided to not only extend its sponsorship of the ACT race, but to align itself further with a year-round motorsports presence as the “Official Auto Parts Retailer” of the Magic Mile.

“NHMS and its fan base match up well with our customer demographic,” said Mark Mast, vice president of marketing for Bond Auto Parts. “As we continue to grow in this region, we felt it was important to have a more visible presence at the track year-round.”

The Bond Auto Parts ACT Invitational will be part of The Magic Mile’s short-track Saturday Showdown during the SYLVANIA 300 weekend. The thrilling day features NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour races. Last year, it was Rowley, Mass., native Eddie MacDonald who raced his way from 25th to first in just a few laps, capturing the checkered flag in the Bond Auto Parts ACT Invitational.

Bond Auto previously sponsored drivers Kasey Kahne and Bill Elliott formerly of Evernham Motorsports.
