Demand And Coverage Continue To Grow For Monroe Quick-Strut Line

The premier ready-to-install strut replacement solution helping repair shops deliver exceptional quality and value to more customers.

MONROE, Mich. — The Monroe Quick-Strut assembly, the premium ready-to-install strut replacement solution that has helped revolutionize the aftermarket ride control category over the past 11 years, is again setting records for demand and application coverage. Sales of the guaranteed assemblies – which help significantly reduce strut replacement time – have increased each year since they were introduced in 2003. With 33 additional part numbers launched in 2013, the Quick-Strut line now includes more than 200 application-engineered designs that together cover over 196 million registered vehicles in the U.S. and Canada.

120260MonroeQS2_00000069843“Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies are helping automotive service providers perform more complete, high-quality strut replacements for more customers every year,” said Bill Dennie, director, ride control channel management, North America aftermarket, Tenneco. “By choosing a Quick-Strut assembly, professionals can be confident that they will save time on the job and deliver the precise, original equipment-style ride and handling preferred by millions of customers. They also can be sure that each unit features high-quality components, including a coil spring manufactured in the U.S with precisely calibrated, premium, American-made steel.”

Dennie said the Quick-Strut line will again be expanded in 2014, with dozens of additional part numbers being introduced for late-model foreign-nameplate and domestic vehicles.

Monroe Quick-Strut units, the aftermarket’s first complete, ready-to-install replacement strut assemblies, include all of the OE-style components required for a comprehensive strut repair. Each Quick-Strut unit features a pre-assembled OE-style bearing plate, upper and lower spring isolators, upper spring seat, coil spring, boot kit, and a premium strut engineered to address the vehicle’s unique ride and handling characteristics. This breakthrough design reduces installation time by eliminating the need to disassemble components and compress the coil spring and helps eliminate ride control comebacks commonly caused by failure to replace worn parts.

To help ensure customer confidence and satisfaction, each Monroe Quick-Strut assembly also is covered by Tenneco’s limited lifetime warranty and 90-day Safe & Sound Guarantee.
