International Distributors USA Receives National PRONTO Association Supplier Award

Company named 2013 Private Brand Supplier Of The Year for excellence in packaging, products and support.

NEW YORK, N.Y. – International Distributors USA Inc. (IDUSA), a global supply network of automotive replacement parts, has received the 2013 Private Brand Supplier of the Year award from the National PRONTO Association, one of the country’s largest auto parts buying groups. The award was presented to International Distributors USA Inc. during PRONTO’s recent Shareholder’s Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

118966prontoawa_00000068856Bill Maggs, president of National PRONTO, and Mike Mohler, VP and product manager of National PRONTO, presented the award to IDUSA for delivering quality Pronto-branded packaging, products and support. Anan Bishara, CEO of IDUSA, and Denise Burrell, senior account manager, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

“We are very excited about this prestigious award,” said Bishara. “We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Pronto. When you are recognized by a very successful organization such as PRONTO, it says a lot about you and the way you do business. As a National PRONTO vendor, we work side by side with exceptional, industry-leading manufacturers, so it takes a great effort and commitment to be the best. We are very proud of our people and their dedication in serving the National Pronto Association membership.”

PRONTO award winners are chosen by a membership survey, which selects the best vendor in each of eight categories: Supplier of the Year, Private Brand Supplier of the Year, OE Supplier of the Year, Marketing Excellence, Partnership, Manpower, Category Management and Mexico Supplier of the Year. The award recipients are chosen based on a strict set of criteria for each award category, which evaluates the vendor’s performance based on five key points: enthusiasm about being in a “PRONTO box,” dedication to meeting deadlines, maintaining up-to-date cataloging and applications, and delivering competitive pricing. During the survey, PRONTO members nominate and vote for the winning suppliers. International Distributors USA Inc. was one of the eight vendors recognized by the PRONTO membership for the award.

In the process of selecting IDUSA for this award, PRONTO members noted that they chose IDUSA because it was fully committed to the organization, maintained the optimum supply and demonstrated a very high priority for the PRONTO brand. The members also cited IDUSA’s great sales support and cataloging, as well as its excellent product coverage including late model applications.
