Advanced Innovative Technology (AIT) Names Bob Van Gorkom, Vice President

Van Gorkom will be VP North America sales/marketing for ISO/TS-certified CV joints and axle products.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Advanced Innovative Technology (AIT) a WONH Industries Co., today announced it has named Bob Van Gorkom, vice president of sales and marketing for its North American aftermarket business operations. Prior to joining AIT, Van Gorkom served as president of North American sales and marketing for The Hytec Automotive Group, Doral, Fla., during the past three years. In this new role, Van Gorkom will report directly to AIT President Dan Hough.

As vice president of sales and marketing, Van Gorkom’s main responsibility will be to help maintain AIT’s primary position as a leading brand and supplier of premium ISO-9001, ISO14001 and TS-16949 certified aftermarket parts, including SurTrack the company’s line of OE-specified replacement CV axles, ATV and UTV performance axles. SurTrack specializes in CV joints and axles for all passenger cars, light duty trucks and ATVs/UTVs.

Van Gorkom has worked for more than 35 years in the automotive industry and held several executive leadership positions with prestigious companies such as Lucas Industries, Auto Specialty, TRW Automotive and The Hytec Automotive Group.
