SKF Offers Mobile App Of Its Popular Online Parts Catalog

The SKF Parts Info app is a free download available for iPhone, iPad and Android.

ELGIN, Ill. — SKF has developed the SKF Parts Info app, a mobile app based on its popular automotive and heavy duty online parts catalog, SKFpartsinfo.com. The free download available for iPhone, iPad and Android is designed to provide users with the convenience of an online parts search in a mobile app environment.

Like the online parts catalog, SKFpartsinfo.com, the SKF Parts Info app provides users with access to a wide range of part numbers and interchange information for cars and light trucks, and medium and heavy duty trucks. The parts search functionality provides more than 77,000 documents-to-SKU relationships, including information sheets, brochures and tech tips.

Additionally, the SKF Parts Info app features a VIN scanner for quick and easy parts lookup, as well as links to the SKF Parts Info YouTube channel and Twitter page for access to product information and technical tips for various applications.

“The SKF Parts Info app is an excellent tool, allowing customers to access the e-catalog from their mobile device just about anywhere,” said Brian Jungmann, marketing communications project leader, SKF. “With a simple download, technicians can access product information or technical tips as soon as they need it during the repair process.”

Additionally, SKF has enhanced the functionality of SKFpartsinfo.com, so that the e-catalog works fully when accessed in a browser on a mobile device.

For more information about SKF, contact your local SKF representative, visit www.vsm.skf.com, call 800-882-0008 or visit the SKF e-catalog at www.SKFpartsinfo.com.
