Dameon Booker Named Senior Manager Of Information Technology Systems At DENSO Products And Services Americas Inc.

In the newly created position, Booker oversees daily operations and long-range development of the company's information technology network. Booker joined the DENSO affiliate June 7.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. has appointed Dameon Booker as senior manager of its Information Technology Systems (ITS) Group. In the newly created position, Booker oversees daily operations and long-range development of the company’s information technology network. Booker joined the DENSO affiliate June 7.
 
“This high-level position is an important link in the overall strategic expansion of our company,” said Richard Shiozaki, senior vice president for DENSO Products and Services. “Dameon brings the technological and business mind set to support and enhance the sales and marketing of the numerous products and services we plan to launch.”
 
As senior manager of the ITS Group, Booker is responsible for overseeing company-wide technology systems and support personnel, directing new initiatives and applications development and guiding and enforcing company policy at DENSO Products and Services operations in Long Beach and Murrieta, California. Key responsibilities also include systems security and compliance with corporate policies and applicable laws.
 
Booker joins DENSO with more than 14 years of information technology experience at leading domestic and global retail, pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing companies. His expertise includes technology solutions, business leadership and team building, systems security, technology and systems integration, process modeling, applications development, cross-functional technology, vendor partnerships, quality assurance and emerging technologies.
 
Most recently, Booker served as IT business relationship and portfolio manager for Mentor Worldwide LLC, a Johnson & Johnson company based in Santa Barbara, California. He managed technology strategy and systems for Mentor’s sales operations, customer service, finance, digital marketing, quality assurance, healthcare compliance and clinical divisions.
 
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Booker moved to California in 2005 and holds a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He also holds a Master of Science in information systems and project management from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, and a bachelor’s degree in applied science, specializing in math and computer science and management science, from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
