Call For Nominees – ‘Remanufacturer Of The Year 2014’

ReMaTecNews invites nominations for the magazine’s prestigious “Remanufacturer of the Year Award 2014.” This year’s recipient will be announced during BigR/ReMaTecUSA, the international remanufacturing show at the Rio Hotel and Conference Center in Las Vegas on Nov. 1.

Began in 2005, the Remanufacturer of the Year Award honors individuals or businesses that have served the automotive or heavy-duty reman industries with distinction. Judging criteria are technical excellence, dedication to quality, innovation and impact on the reman industry. Other factors taken into consideration include outstanding customer service, pioneering activities and commitment to the cause and promotion of automotive and heavy-duty remanufacturing.

Past winners
During the past decade, the honor has been won by individuals and businesses from Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, United States and the United Kingdom. In 2013, the award went to Alan Smart, the owner and chief executive of ATP group, the UK transmission and electronics specialist, which operates subsidiaries in China and the U.S.

The panel of judges currently consists of Volker Schittenhelm, FIRM (International Association of Engine Rebuilders and Remanufacturers); Fernand Weiland, APRA’s European Division (Auto Parts Remanufacturers Association), Doug Wolma of Dana Holding Corporation and MERA and William Schwarck, Editor-in-Chief, ReMaTecNews.
